The lovely Riccardo Buscarini is presenting an old solo of his, iovedo at Chisenhale Dance Space, on its second birthday, Friday 9th December at 7 PM.

The evening is curated by Agony Art and will feature works by Annelie Nederberg, Antonio de la Fe, Danai Pappa
and Neil Spowage.

Exciting things happening with Luc Mollinger (CiR) as he has his first experience working in musicals. He’s currently working on The Three Musketeers at the Rose Theatre, Kingston and it looks amazing!!

Joel Horwood – CIR RESIDENT 2010/2011
Joel Horwood is an accomplished playwright whose debut, Mikey the Pikey, won the Cameron Mackintosh Award before receiving a West End option from David Pugh Ltd. Since then his career has gone from strength to strength, winning awards and enjoying sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and nationally. His current adaptation of ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ opens at West Yorkshire Playhouse on April 16th this year.

Kenny Emson – Representation
Kenneth Emson has taken part in workshops with the Royal Court, Paines Plough and the National Theatre Studio. He’s also written for the Old Vic 24 Hour play (Enduring Voices; 2008) and Hampstead Theatre Start Night (The Things That Never Grew in the Garden:2009) He has had three plays premiere on the London fringe and had short plays produced at the Latitude, Hotbed, London Literature, Green Man, Hotink (NY) Festivals and at Live Theatre Newcastle, Mercury Theatre Colchester and The Public Theatre (NY). In 2009 he was the UK writer for the Old Vic US/UK Exchange programme where his new play Sonderkommando was given a reading.

Luc Mollinger – CIR RESIDENT 2010/2011
Luc Mollinger is a director of theatre and opera. Recent work includes the live opera / film Tales of Hoffmann (Arcola Theatre) and as an Assistant Director on productions with Opera North and Salisbury Playhouse. Luc graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia and has lived in London since 2005. During his residency he will explore ways of engaging opera with new audiences and push the boundaries of presenting it using new media.

Lisa Spirling’s career is kicking off!!

Lisa has recently been made the Associate Director on Headlong’s hit production of ENRON for the West End and National Tour. She has also been invited to Houston Texas by the Alley Theatre to direct the farce Boeing Boeing in May this year. After which she becomes a Staff Director at the National Theatre working with Donmar Warehouse Artistic Director Michael Grandage on his first NT production Danton’s Death
Alongside this her award winning theatre company Buckle for Dust which she runs with producer Claire Birch have scheduled a spring tour of Lou Ramsden’s play Hundreds and Thousands for 2011. Buckle for Dust and this exceptional play were developed throughout her time as a Creative Resident at The Hospital Club. They now have the additional support of the renowned English Touring Theatre Company (ETT) who have provided Claire with a producers bursary and full support to guide the play to a full production.
